The fire is the point. A few neighbours keep it company.
Pip, the mantel gnome
He sits on the mantel in his red hat. Tap him and he dances. Tap him again and he hops. Press and hold the log basket and he hops down, fetches a log and feeds the fire.
The nutcracker and the Mouse King
The nutcracker stands guard on the mantel. Tap him to summon the Mouse King. The Mouse King sneaks in from the right, dances where you can see him, steals a present from under the tree and flees. He brings it back later, and leaves a crumb.
The cat
On the detailed page a cat sleeps by the fire. Tap her and she wakes, looks at you and gives you slow blinks while she purrs. Press and hold her to choose her coat: ginger, grey tabby, black, tuxedo, white, tortie or cream, with big saucer eyes or sleepy ones.
The radio
A 1930s cathedral radio on the mantel of the detailed page. Tap it and it tunes in a carol from the music box; tap it again and it clicks off.
The Advent calendar
Twenty-four doors on the wall. One opens each day from December 1. Tap a door before its day and it tells you to wait.
The mantel clock
It keeps your time and chimes. Tap it to set a timer, and it chimes when time is up.
The candles
Two candles on the mantel. Press and hold one to light it, and hold it again to blow it out.
The tree
Tap the tree to trim it: balls, drops, bells and candy canes in eight colours, up to forty of them. Shake it and they swing.
The mug
Pour a hot chocolate with the Cocoa card or C. Tap the mug to sip, hold to pour more, swipe to stir. Choose marshmallows, cream, a candy cane or a dusting of cocoa.
Together
The Together button opens a room. Friends who join with the link share the same fire: logs, colours, candles, letters, Pip, the Mouse King and the ornaments show on every screen in the room.
